Project Overview:
The new Bismarck State College Polytechnic Building is a major addition to the BSC campus—designed to support hands-on, industry-focused education across technology, energy, cybersecurity, engineering, and advanced manufacturing. The three-story, 89,000+ square-foot facility includes flexible labs, collaborative learning spaces, and a skywalk connection to the National Energy Center of Excellence.
Built on a greenfield site on the north end of campus, the project required precise planning and engineering to ensure safe access, proper utility integration, and long-term campus functionality. Swenson, Hagen & Co. was selected to provide comprehensive civil and surveying support from the very beginning of the project through final construction.
